How it got here.
Dutch Passion credits breeder DJ Short with the original Blueberry family. Its catalogue says the line reached the Dutch market in 1998 alongside Blue Velvet, Blue Moonshine, Flo and Blue Heaven.
The company describes Afghani, Thai and Oaxacan ancestry. That mix became a starting point for later blue-family crosses, which is one reason the word Blueberry now travels far beyond one packet.
The colour is part of the appeal, but it is not a fixed feature of every plant. Dutch Passion describes blue and purple hues as possible expressions of its line.
What the breeder describes.
The plant
Dutch Passion describes a broad-leaved, resinous plant with short internodes. Its indoor flowering estimate is roughly 8–9 weeks.
What the name evokes
The berry association comes from the breeder’s account of aroma and colour. Neither can be verified from a seed label alone.
The exact version
Dutch Passion offers regular and feminized Blueberry. This profile refers to its feminized photoperiod seed.
Dutch Passion describes a clear, uplifting effect; this is a breeder account rather than a tested outcome.
