What it means.
Autoflowering describes when flowering begins. These lines start flowering with age rather than waiting for a change in day length, a trait associated with ruderalis ancestry in modern breeding.
Many retail autoflowering packs are also feminized, but the two words describe different traits. An automatic version of a famous cultivar is a distinct breeding product from its photoperiod version.
